Teresa Koska ("TK")
January 18, 1968 - October 30, 2015
Teresa Koska, 47, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully following her 8 year battle with cancer.  Born January 18, 1968 in Kansas City, KS, she was the daughter of Patricia Ann Lindsey and husband, Frank and Michael Francis Koska, Jr. and wife Kathy.

Teresa graduated from UNCW with a BA degree in Fine Arts.  As owner of Premiere Events, Teresa has used her talents creating Wilmington’s first and finest full scale event design company.  Her unique ideas and artistic touches set Teresa apart by providing her clients with memorable occasions specifically designed for them.  She was able to transform their special day through her positivity and passion, often gaining lifelong friends as her work touched many lives.

Known as TK, she played women’s beach volleyball doubles and played professional beach volleyball in California.  Teresa also enjoyed playing locally at Captain Bill’s and Dig and Dive.

Teresa received great pleasure in decorating and designing her home and was published in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine showcasing her skills.

Teresa wanted to thank God for carrying her through her journey.  She also wished to thank her family, friends and neighbors for being so supportive over the last two years, with a special thank you to Dr. Kelly Marcom at Duke – may he find a cure.

In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her son, Matthew Grant Gausman; her sisters, Stella Carter, Atlanta Carrera (Reynold), and Caroline Reda (Ralph); her brother, Michael F. Koska, III (Angela); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Teresa was passionate about multiple charities and she valued her friendships and relationships more than anything.  Memorial donations may be made, in Teresa’s name, to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Dr. Wilmington, NC 28401.  LCFH Donation to Teresa's Garden

I Corinthians: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived – the things God has prepared for those who love Him.
