A Child of the Light

"Tree of Life" by Atlanta Marie Carrera

A child of the light,
slipping into the setting sun.

A brilliance of white,
transforming darkness into life.

A spirit of love,
joining us all in prayer as one.

A freedom above,
Celebrating in unending joy.

God's Grace

"Shield of Faith"
by Atlanta Marie Carrera
God's grace shines down upon this child,
an innocent whose slate is clean,
surrounded now by love supreme,
protected through this very sin.

What does this world now hold for him?
A life of struggle, trapped within,
a lowly state in human terms,
but souls are meant for bigger things.

Our judgement skewed by limited view.
Open wide our hearts to you,
and feel God's Grace upon this earth,
and fear no more from all this hurt.

For what was Lost

by Atlanta Marie Carrera
For what was lost that used to be,
I pray for love in tragedy.
Surround our souls with healing force,
and give us strength to find ourselves.

With hugs and tears, there are no words.
Spread now the light and sound the gong!
so blind will see and deaf will hear.
Our actions speak, so all is clear.

Let faith bring peace upon this earth,
and comfort hearts that bleed so deep
New futures rise and hope endures,
from what was lost that used to be.

"Fly Away" Stained Glass by Pat Miller
Windsong Glass Studio on Etsy

Can you hear the Windsong's words?
It speaks to me with doves of peace.
Can you feel the joy it brings?
It's made with love upon its wings.

Sun shines through the colored glass
and brings to life a vivid path.
Following dreams from vibrant birth,
creations from inspired earth.
