Mrs. Lindsey was a 1960 graduate of New Hanover High School. She grew up on her family’s dairy farm, W.J. Taylor Dairy with her brothers and sisters in Wilmington. At age 13 she worked for her parents at Taylor Fireworks and went on to her own fireworks business in Kansas City, KS until she was 29. For 45 years she was the owner and President of Keller’s, Inc., a Fire Protection Specialist Company started in 1973 in Spartanburg, SC, which later relocated to Wilmington, NC in 1975. She was a member of various industry organizations throughout her career. Patricia dedicated her whole life to her family and business, where every employee she ever had was like family.

Her husband Frank worked with her to grow Keller’s Inc. over the years but their favorite time was at their home at Wrightsville Beach, where Granny and Grandpa Frank enjoyed the sunsets and cherished time with children and grandchildren on their boat dock
