Love's Lullaby

"Flying Hearts" by Atlanta Marie Carrera
"Love's Lullaby"  by Atlanta Marie Carrera
Come rest your head
and lean on me,
let angels sleep,
and love will dream.

A lullaby
of soft refrain,
a breath of hope,
a gentle wind.

I sing to you,
sweet child of mine,
a peace comes soon,
a quiet cry.

I hold you close
and whisper love,
a lullaby
upon your heart.

In the Garden

"Garden of the Butterfly" by Atlanta Marie Carrera
In the Garden
In the garden,
once the rain is gone,
I feel the gentle breeze,
drying up my tears,
Innocence retained.

In the garden,
as dawn breaks into day,
I watch the flowers bloom,
the fresh scents overtake,
Radiance remains.

In the garden,
when I close my eyes,
I hear the children laugh,
playing at their games,
Joy regains.

In the garden,
a taste of bittersweet
still lingers in my mind.
The butterflies take flight,
and Love sustains.
